Verde Green

Visual Identity
Need
Fueled by my profound love for plants, I embarked on a journey to conceptualize a unique plant shop brand. This decision was born out of my experiences exploring numerous local plant shops in the Houston, Texas area. I was unable to find the distinct aesthetic I envisioned. Recognizing a gap in the market, I aspired to bridge it by crafting a plant shop brand identity that exudes vibrancy, boldness, and creativity.
Design Solution
Starting from scratch, I started by creating a memorable name, eye-catching logo and packaging design that illustrates the vibrancy and liveliness of plants. Following that, I curated social media content to offer customers a glimpse into the lush green world of a plant shop.

The Research
I immersed myself in the concept of Verde Green through a comprehensive exploration using design thinking methodologies and extensive research. I stimulated my visual senses by gathering inspiration from various online sources, embarking on nature walks, and visiting plant shops for real life experiences.
Next, I compiled my visual research findings all of my visual research and launched into a branding matrix. This involved brainstorming key thoughts and ideas, listing descriptive words, and organizing images that aligned with envisioned essence of the conceptual plant shop.
Moodboard and Sketches
During my visual identity exploration for this design concept, I embarked on an extensive image hunt, image hunt, meticulously selecting visuals that seamlessly aligned with the key elements encapsulated in my final word list: Nature, Plant Enthusiast, High Quality, Stylish, and Potting.
Subsequently, I delved into the realm of ideation, translating these conceptual underpinnings into a series of loose logo iterations. Each iteration was sketched out, serving as a visual conduit to communicate the depth of my comprehensive visual research.
