Need
I was tasked with creating a logo for Laura K. Wise, a writer speaker, and content creator. Laura was in the makings of taking her business to the next level when she connected with me to create a logo for her brand.
Design Solution
The process began by identifying the essence of Laura K. Wise and what her brand meant to her and the people she wanted to serve. I conducted the necessary that lead to an intentional and fun logo exploration. To put it simply, the final logo embodied the statement that Laura wanted to make about her brand. A sophisticated woman that is here to empower and serve!

The Research
I performed a deep dive into Laura’s personal brand. Beginning with client interviews, internet visibility, and later drilling it down to word lists. These exercises galvanized me into creating a powerful mood board that echoed Laura’s minimal and interesting style coupled with my creativity.
Moodboard and Sketches
Laura communicated her preference for simple geometrical shapes to be apart of the logo. During my research I saw the most exquisite images of minimal curvilinear shapes. I leaned into the concept and fully committed. I sketched out as many ideas as my imagination would allow to create.
